very close to the airport On my business travel to Glasgow, I booked one night from gtahotels.com. My stay was good. The best advantage of the hotel is closeness to the airport just 2km. Rooms are tiny but functional. I dined at Juliana's restaurant. Meals are OK. The hotel personel is polite and very helpful. I recommend it for your short stays. Comfortable! 3.8

Normandy Hotel Glasgow The normandy hotel is a great place to stay. The staff are great and will do their utmost to make your stay as good as possible. The resterant is exelant the staff take your personal preferences into concideration when preparing your meal i ordered (Tbone pork with buble&squeek mashed potato) it normaly comes with apple sauce and glassed apples but being a diabetic i asked if the sauce and apples could be excluded this was put into the meal request and a member of the cooking staff then appeared to find out if i would prefare some other sauce added to suit my diabetic condition. They fell over bacwards to make my meal very enjoyable. When we arrived at the hotel it was late into the evening and when we went to bed it was noticed that the bed was damaged by a previous tenant. we had to leave for work early so could not report this minor problem until the next evening when going in to have an evening meal. reception sent a porter to inspect the bed imediately and as the bed was damaged instantly changed our room to one that was a lot better. I feel that the hotel whilst being from the seventies era has every thing that a person needs to have whilst staying in glasgow. I personaly would give this hotel 10 out of 10 as it met and exceeded all of my needs.

Mrs I Broadley Very good hotel. Close to the airport. We stayed in a newly refurbished Signature Suite. Very comfortable and the menu for the evening meal was also very good. Ten minutes on the M8 into Glasgow or anywhere else on the motorway network. The hotel also seemed well set up for special events and conferences.

The Normandy- Glasgow Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the Normandy. Heplful and kind staff. Very nice restaurant and bar facilities. Well stocked breakfast buffet and fresh coffee. Free mini bus to airport and local shopping areas.

"Fantastic Tribute Nights & Great Food" The Tribute Party Nights here are fantastic. Great service, great food, great entertainment and all at an amazing price! It was worth the money for the buffet style breakfast alone. Rooms are standard with a bit modernisation required but were warm, clean and beautifully presented. We will definitely be back!!
