"Very pleasant hotel"
I had a very pleasant stay in the Norwood hotel. It was lovely to enter the hotel and see a roaring log burning fire. The room was large and comfortable with an adequate bathroom. The staff were a great help. My lugggage had gone missing and they willingly tried to track it down for me. The only downside was the breakfast. Not what I'd expect from a four star hotel. There was choice but I have experienced better. The hotel is not in the centre but on the outskirts of the city so eating in the evening can be a problem if you don't want to eat in the hotel. I would happily stay ther again and is certainly one of the better hotels in Aberdeen

"Wow, suprised to read all of the bad reviews.......I Loved It!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Wow, I cannot believe all of the bad reviews!!! Are we talking about the same place???? WOW, some people are just really unhappy in life!
I am new to trip advisor so I am trying to go back and review some of the places that I stayed over the last year or so that I really enjoyed.
From the moment we checked in to the Norwood Hall Hotel we were in awe! The architecture and woodwork in this building is amazing!!! The cozy feel of the old wrld charm, the staff, the food, the beer…..ALL of it was GREAT! We stayed in family room which was pleasantly decorated with antique furnishings and beautiful enormous windows that offered a beautiful view of the courtyard below. The rooms were very clean and well kept and the beds and linens were very comfortable and soothing after our 12 hour flight. It was a very relaxing place and I enjoyed being located on the outskirts of the city surrounded by lush landscaping.
The food was great and our waitress was even better. She was very kind and polite and told us stories about the History of Norwood Hall; as she used to live there as a child.
All in all I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Aberdeen. I will without doubt return despite all of the negative comments.

"Wedding Reception"
We stayed at this hotel after our daughters wedding reception was held there. Excellent all round, friendly, helpfull, and the food at the reception was first class and plenty of it. Staff were very attentive and helpfull.
