The Nova Hotel is a friendly, 3-star hotel, located in 5 beautifully renovated historic buildings in the heart of Amsterdam. Famous shopping areas as well as many museums and the colourful flower markets are nearby. There are numerous excellent restaurants and cafes in the immediate vicinity. From Schiphol Airport the hotel can easily be reached by taxi or by direct train to Amsterdam Central Station. From Central Station you can either take a taxi (5 minutes) or the tram. The hotel is completely non-smoking!

"Excellent Value"
My fiance Ailie and I spent three nights at the Nova 15th - 18th December 2006, Had room 34 (Massive Room facing the street) Absolutely no complaints, Clean towels every day, full sized fridge,Rooms Clean and well furnished. Hotel staff friendly and very helpfull. Excellent location (1 minute stroll to Dam square). We would definately use the Nova again and would recommend to anyone looking for a good hotel in the heart of Amsterdam..

"Excellent Hotel, Good Location"
My partner and I have just returned from a 2 night stay at the Nova. We had room 401 which was a very spacious room at the front of the hotel. which great if you can tolerate the tram noise. We cannot fault anything about this hotel, the location was excellent, not far to walk to anywhere. The hotel is about 15 minute walk to Central Station, don't make the mistake of having a taxi as we got charged almost €20 for the journey, which is a bit of a rip off. Should I return to Amsterdam, i will be booking into this hotel again.

"Very pleasant stay"
Stayed for 4 nights. We had room 44 which was at the back of the hotel and whilst the view was over other buildings, it was nice and quiet. A good sized room, very comfortable and warm ( the weather was cold so we appreciated the radiator), satisfactory bathroom and TV (we could get BBC1and BBC2). The breakfast was continental and quite sufficient with cold meats, cheese, cereals, rolls, bread etc. Reception was always friendly and helpful. We booked Keukenhof excursion through reception but this year the tulips were already finished. Amsterdam was a lovely city with loads of eating options. Recommend the canal cruise from Central Station (7 euros), the houseboat museum on Prinsengracht and a drink in Rembrandtplein. We also caught the train to Zaanse-Shans (5.20 euros return every half hour platform 8A) which is an open air museum of Dutch life. Cheese making, clog making, 17th century houses, working windmills and other crafts. A good half day trip. Overall Amsterdam was a good experience and the Hotel Nova added a comfortable touch to our break.

"Fantastic break"
For a twoT plus hotel the Nova was perfect. We went with friends but had rooms on different floors but both were great, spacious and very clean. The only thing we would improve on would be tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms instead of paying for it in a machine in the lobby. Breakfasts were fine with plenty of it. Reception staff were brillaint giving excellent advice on day trips, even booking them for us with discounts. The candlelight cruise, Heineken experience and Anne Franks house are all worth visiting. Even the Red Light district was amusing. We would definately stay here again if we came back.
