"Recommend this Hotel"
We spent two nights at the Novotel on a 3 night stay in The Netherlands and would highly recommend it as a hotel, especially if you can get a good deal that includes the substantial buffet breakfast. Rooms are standard for this type of hotel. The hotel is 20 minutes from central amsterdam by the number 4 train, which terminates 2 minutes from the hotel. It is also 2 minutes from Rai train station, where you can catch trains to and from the hotel. Staff were helpful and the reception dest sells strips of tram tickets. The only down side is the distance to central Amsterdam, but the tram ride is reasonably scenic, so this isn't a big deal.

"The easy way to enjoy yoour vacation"
I stayed at Novotel Amsterdam for 5 nights.
Representatives were very friendly, professional & helpful,
The room was very clean and spacious,
All breakfasts were amazing, colorful and beyond expectations,
The Novotel Amsterdam is easily reached by train from the airport and tram # 4 from city center.
Always will be happy to return.

"Worth it"
We stayed here for three days and enjoyed it quite a bit. The hotel was not located in town but that was not an issue, the tram into town is right there (#4) about a block away and we could be in Central Amsterdam in just a few minutes. The train is also there which you can take to Schipol Airport or Leiden if looking for the gardens. The location was great, breakfast was really good and we had it included in our rate. It gave us a chance to really start our day nice.
Although we stayed out late every evening we never had an issue or felt unsafe. The twin room was small by our standards here in the states but was perfect for people who are basically in and out on vacation. Bathrooms were new and modern.
The staff friendly and helpful.
Would definitely stay here again.
