"first - class"
High quality 4 star hotel! Me and my boyfriend spent 3 nights there. It is well located close to many activities in the city. The hotel provides entertaining facilities. I loved the pool and sauna! I could check my emails during my stay because there was wireless. Excellent room service is available 24 hours. My boyfriend enjoyed at the solarium while I was in gym center :) We had a spacious comfortable bedroom. We are planning to come back and stay longer! |

novotel - Atlantic Wharf
Under refurbishment at the moment, so not much parking space, a little difficult to find but i am sure that this will be a good place to stay in the future.
Followed advice on this site and requested a newly refurbished non-smoking room. The room was of a very good standard. Very comfortable bed although soundproofing was not good - take earplugs or request a room on a higher floor (I would if I were to return).
Well equipped Gym, very nice pool although I would suggest you use goggles-my eyes were affected by the chemicals in the water.
Ate in the bar as Restaurant was under refurbishment. A La Carte menu was a little pricy but the food was very good. Also good room service menu available. Breakfast was good and the overerall service was superb. In all - thumbs up especially at GTA discounted prices! |

"Excellent Experience"
Before going to Cardiff last weekend, I was rather alarmed to read many of the negative reviews posted here. Our experience couldn't have been more different. Efficient, friendly staff; clean, modern ("Classic") room in the new wing; very reasonable evening meal in the bar; superb breakfast. The old wing is currently undergoing some refurbishment - this is clearly aiming to provide good facilities while maintaining lots of character features. While this is not the cheapest hotel in Cardiff, it is very conveniently situated, has loads of parking and offers, in my opinion, good value for money.

"FANTASTIC!!!!!"
We stayed at this hotel to celebrate our five year engagement anniversary. How anyone could say the staff are rude is something I will never understand. On arrival, we were greeted with a big smile from the gentleman on reception who was very polite and happy. The staff there are so kind, they had neatly arranged a happy anniversary card, chocolates and a bottle of red wine with two glasses, free of charge, at our room!!!! The room was very modern, clean & contempary I'd recommend this hotel to everyone. It absolutely fab!!!
