"great hotel" It is a new hotel with "novation" rooms (i.e. their newest style) and was very comfortable. Free safes, new bathrooms, and new duvet style bedding. It is across the street from the train station so there are restaurants, internet cafe, buses, services, etc. close by. It is very easy to get to, as you keep going straight from A13 highway, and is approx. 1 block past the McDonald's. What was exceptional at this hotel was the extremely friendly staff who were welcoming, both at the reception desk and in their main restaurant. Normally, we don't eat in hotel restaurants. However, due to time constraints, we were forced to and were very pleasantly surprised at the quality and service. They have a great prix fixe menu which changes weekly. We were given complimentary Kir cocktails and an amuse bouche to start and then had a choice of 3 different prix fixe menus (very reasonably priced), all of which included a glass of wine/beverage. The moules with poulette sauce was outstanding (and we tried moule dishes all along the Normandy coast!) We will definitely go back again!
