"Family of four"
Stayed for 3nights while sightseeing Paris - room was adequate for our family with a large teenager and 10 year old. Breakfast was plentiful but quite busy so worth getting there early. Good location as you can walk to the Louvre, Pompidou easily. Had an evening meal in restaurant and compared to Paris prices it was quite good value. Surrounding area very busy with shops although a few undesirables hanging around although this seems fairly common thoughtout Paris. Would recommend this hotel for the fact it had a fairly large family room.

"Good Hotel in a Convenient Location"
A good quality hotel in a good location, just a 5 minute walk to The Louvre and about 15 mins to Notre Dam. Their is also a Metro Station just outside the main entrance. During the day the area is full of charming bistros and restaurants and is quite lively with office workers and tourists. Some other reviews have mentioned the area is not too safe at night but that was not my experience, no worse than any large city.
Arrived after a short drive after spending a few days at the Disneyland Hotel. The hotel is quite easy to find, just of Rue di Rivoli and has its own car park in the basement. They car park is quite tight, I have a Ford Galaxy and that only just made one of the corners. Hate to drive anything bigger. Word of warning, their is a pay machine by the lift entrance, but do not use this as it will charge you the full rate of €37 a day. Pay at reception and it is only €22.
The lobby is nicely decorated in typical Novotel modern style with a comfortable bar and lounge. Their is also internet and a Xbox for the kids. Their is also a very useful and helpful Paris Information Office with useful maps and guides.
The reception staff were very firendly and helpful and spoke good English.
The rooms were reasonable in size but were funcional and well decorated, again in typical Novotel style. Warning when looking for you room, look at the floor, thats where the numbers are, don't look like and idiot like I did trying to find you room. The room has a modern tv system with information system and some English language channels.
After having arrived tired we decided to eat in the hotel restauant. The choice of food is not large but is well cooked and presented and waiters firendly, and my daughter got a free toy with her meal. It cost about £20 a head with wine. With hindsight, and if we had arrived earlier, I would look at one of the local bistros.
Overall I would recommend this hotel, and we had a good deal and paid less than €140 a night which for Paris is reasonable.

"Excellent Stay"
I booked the Novotel by searching through the Tripadvisor web site and made a great saving that way. I booked 3 nights and with the mixed reviews wasn't expecting much. To start with the hotel is only 30 mins from CDG airport on the RER train. Get off at the Châtelet le Halles stop. To get out of the train station (which can be daunting) and to find the hotel follow the signs that say Rue Liscot until you see signs that say Rue Berger. If you go out the Rue Berger exit the hotel is 100m directly in front of you so you can't go wrong. As far as location goes for this hotel I would recommend it to anyone. from the hotel you are only 5 minutes walk to the Louvre & the Seine, maybe 10 minutes to Notre Dame so you have a good idea that the location is nothing short of fabulous. To top that there is plently of excellent resturaunts and shops right beside the hotel so if you decide not to eat in the hotel you will have plenty of choice. I would recommend you try the "Au Chein Oui Fume", this is only 1 minute walk from the hotel and is a really nice resturaunt. I can't comment much on eating in the hotel as I only had 1 breakfast there. Breakfast costs €16 per person with plenty to choose from. You had you typical contential breakfast, breads, meats, cheeses there was also eggs, sausages etc. I thought the rooms in the hotel we very nice. They we decorated in a classy contemporary style with very practical desks, LCD TV, internet access and the darkest black-out blinds ever. I slept very well !! One thing I really liked about the room is that there is a second door in the room that seperates the living area (bed etc) from the bathroom and main door. This meant that there was 2 door between you and the corridor. You know what this means don't you? Thats right, it means there is excellent sound proofing from all the usual slamming doors and loud talkers first thing in the morning outside your room. Bliss!! As with the bedroom area the bathroom was very tastfully decorated with a huge shower & modern sink. I found the staff in the hotel to be quite helpful and friendly so no issues there. One nice touch in the hotel is that you can't access the elevators in the lobby area without swiping your room key so you feel that your valuables are that bit safer up in your room. The room also has a huge & more importantly FREE safe. This will easily take your laptop and plently of room to spare. At night time the area outside the hotel can be quiet lively but very safe, of course you still need to that the usual precautions as with any city. You may not see them but this area does have a lot of police around which of course is nice. So to wrap up: Is the hotel nice - Definitely, Good Value - Definitely, Good location - Definitely, Would I recommend it to a family member - Definitely, Is it worth it - Most Definitely

"Great place for a short break"
I booked via hotel site, as it was the cheapest rate I found.
Hotel way exceeded expectations. Travelled with 9 and 11 year old, and they each had a single bed which folded down from sofa.
Room was far bigger than any other I'd stayed in, and clean and comfortable. For the quality of the place, it was certainly value for money .
Breakfasts were fine, but they were a bit slow restocking.
I'd been apprehensive about location, but we found it to be fantastic.
So many places were within a short walking distance, and we did not feel at all threatened . There was a strong police presence around the hotel.
The staff were very helpful, and all spoke good English.
I would definitely stay there again.

"Loved the location"
4 night stay in smart, clean, comfortable room, looking out onto lovely view of St Eustache church and gardens of Les Halles. Location afforded easy walking to Pompidou Centre, Louvre Hotel de Ville, Seine and access to RER / Metro just opposite hotel. Lots of interesting and lively streets to explore within the vacinity. Staff helpful and friendly, buffet breakfast very good. Drinks in hotel expensive though and mini bar 3 times the cost of same item purchased outside. Recommended as a great base for on foot access to central Paris sights.

"Great Place!"
We were staying in this Hotel on a 1 night break to Paris.
The room was clean, modern and a good size. The position of the Hotel was perfect. Even the usually sourly customer service you would generally expect from the French was not in existance. The staff were very helpful and did not even question me when I asked for my mini bar bill to be removed as it had been added by accident (our fault).
Highly recommended.

"GREAT hotel in the heart of Paris!"
If you like a very modern, spacious and friendly hotel, do not look further! We had a perfect 3 day stay! The Metro and large station is just a minute or two's walk away, it is located in a great, vibrant and safe area near the river and the hotel staff are friendly – what more can you ask for? The reception area is comfy and beautiful with nice fresh flowers everywhere. Our room was large with a lovely bathroom consisting of a shower AND a bath tub with the toilet in a separate room: Fantastic! - you do not even find this in an expensive 5 star hotel. Breakfast was a bit pricey but we did our own thing. The view from our bedroom was great - see two photos attached. Two thumbs up in all respects for this hotel!
