Built in 1981 Novotel Linz Hotel has 115 quiet rooms and is situated 3 kilometers from the city centre and with easy access to the A7 motorway. Public transportation is to be found near the hotel.

All the rooms are large and identical in both size and style. They are decorated in pleasant pastel colours and modern furniture, retaining the traditional French bed and sofa bed. Both rooms and bathrooms are in good condition. The restaurant is modern in design and pleasantly decorated in light and pastel colours. The lobby is large in size and modern in design with a small seating area. It is open plan through to the bar area.

The Novotel offers good standard accommodation and is a perfect base for clients looking for comfort and convenience

"A good standard hotel"
The Novotel Linz was very comfortable but as a tourist I wouldn't go back to Linz, it's quite industrial. The Novotel is about a 5 minute drive to the pretty part of Linz near the cathedral. It was easy to find as signs were up around the city pointing to it and there was plenty of parking. The check in process was quick and easy.The room was spacious with a view of the pool and breakfast area. It was clean with a TV and international newspapers provided. The bathroom was quite modern with soap and shampoo provided, though the shower was hot then cold. The buffet breakfast was a good one with plenty to chose from and was included in the price. Checking out was also quick and easy.

I selected this hotel among the hotels list from my travel agent , the hotel is very beautiful and well designed , the price is very competitive less than 90 Euro . All the services were available , the hotel garden is very wonderful , having the breakfast around the pool and the nice breeze of Linz makes you feels the pleasure of gaining value for your money. The only problem with this hotel is the location , Novotel Linz lies at the very end of the city nearby Solar City ,so you have to take the tram after 5 minutes walk from the hotel to the nearby tram station , the tram takes around 20 minutes in order to reach the Hauptplatz ( the main square ). And you can find the tram stops every where in Linz !
