"Location, Location, Location (and affordable)"
This is an excellent clean and modern hotel with a terrific location and affordable rates. First, as already mentioned by others, the location is just a few blocks from both the Central Station and the Grand Place. This saved time and money as I was able to begin my Brussels adventures just about immediately after arrival into the city. Most of the main sights in Brussels are within walking distance, and since everything leads back to the Grand Place, you can easily stop in to drop off stuff or take a quick break from sightseeing and shopping. I was able to get a good rate of 85 Euros, pre-paid. The staff was helpful during check-in and was able to recommend restaurants, which was nice since the Grand Place area has hundreds to choose from. The one quirky thing is that you have to slide your room card into a slot in the elevator in order to choose your floor. Hard to argue about the safety aspects, though. The hotel and my room reminded me of a W. The interior is very modern. The room itself had very functional furniture. The desk rotated 90 degrees to offer more workspace, and there was a lap board to make working on a computer or writing more comfortable. Also, there was a brand new LG LCD TV in the room. Bathroom was clean and the shower had good water pressure. The toilet was in a separate room, which I always find a bit odd. I had a kind bed and it was comfortable. Plenty of closet and storage space in the room. WiFi is offered beginning at 10 Euros for 2 hours. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone: business or pleasure.

"Enjoyed our stay here"
We stayed for a weekend at the Novotel, and we really liked our clean and neat double room (business-like style), the fact that the hotel was so near Grand'Place and the centre and the Gare centrale, so we could come back to the hotel and go out again quickly. Even though central, the rooms are very well isolated from noise. We also found the staff generally helpful. For such a location and room, the price is reasonable (our formula was 89 euros per night incl. breakfast).

"Amazing stay in great location"
We had an amazing time in this hotel. The furniture was modern, the hotel was perfectly clean. The location was amazing, right footsteps from the grand place. The service was also quite excellent. The room was refreshingly large, compared to most other places we stayed. Amazing stay!!

Great location, friendly staff, pay extra for wifi
Can't beat the location of this hotel. Right between Grand Place and the central train stations with frequent trains to Diegem and the airport. Great choice for the business traveler. Very friendly staff, functional and clean rooms. Noice that wireless connection is usually not included in the rate. I think not all rooms have good reception so ask for it when you check in.

"Excellent - ultra modern & perfectly located"
The Novotel sits in a busy square containing several other hotel chains, a minute's walk from the Grand Place in the centre of Brussels. The hotel's decor is very modern, with bright colours and flat screen TVs in the lobby displaying hotel and room rate info. Check-in was excellent, very friendly and simple. Keycard operated the 3 lifts for extra security. My room (405) on the 4th floor was rear facing - looking toward the fabulous Cathedral and Le Meridien Hotel. It was quite large, with separate wc and bathrooms, toiletries, large bath with stand-in shower, porch area with separate door into the bedroom, wardrobe, mini bar, tea/coffee facilites, flat screen remote TV, writing desk, large sofa, air con and double glazing. My rate included breakfast and I thought it was great. Lots of choice, plenty of fresh fruit, a reasonable hot selection, and for the 1st time I've seen - Actimel Yoghurt drinks! Being only 5 mins walk from Brussels Central rail station is an added incentive to stay here, and with most of Brussels' tourist sights within 30mins walk of the hotel I highly recommend you give it a try. For me it's full marks Novotel.

"Beyond the expected!"
We were staying for only night,, we had booked a Deluxe Room (room 216), online for only 95EUR, non refundable non changeable rate. We've stayed in similar priced hotels worldwide but this hotel is really a hidden gem. The interior is minimalist and stylish. Okay, if you're looking for a classical interior, this will be a big dissappointment, but that's not Novotel's vision, clearly. The room was not really big for a Deluxe Room, but this is normal sized for a Novotel. The clean, spotless room really struck us, you could virtually eat from the ground, that clean. Right, I've read in the reviews before, the breakfast is expensive, but this is okay, the buffet is big enough, however, I don't think that 15 EUR is justified but it certainly compensates with the hotel price. The staff was very friendly, helpfull and multilingual. We will certainly opt for this hotel next time we head to Brussels. Have a look at the pictures and judge for yourself.

Excellent modern attractive hotel.Extremely helpful staff. 150 yds to Gare Centrale & also Grand Place.Attractive architecture, dining room.Wasn't noisy on 2 weekend nights we were there! Ideal hotel in a beautiful city.

"Great location"
My husband and I spent five nights at the Novotel in May of this year. The location is the best! It's just two blocks from the Grand Place, a block and a half from the Central Station and a short walk from the Rue de Bouchers and all the restaurants there. Our room was clean and modern, but lacked the dresser drawers that Americans are used to. In addition to an open closet, there were shelves on which to store clothing. Although the desk clerks warned us against eating on the "touristy" Rue de Bouchers, we had some very good meals there.
