"Great stay"
My husband & I with our two children (4 & 1 yrs) stayed for a week at the Novotel in February.
Was a little apprehensive to stay here after reading other traveller reviews but was put at ease straight away. The place was great! As it was supposed to be our honeymoon (yes, with 2 children travelling along!) we wanted an enjoyable time and that is what we had.
The staff all appeared very friendly and helpful, restaurant staff fabulous, day care centre staff wonderful (the children loved it there and as my 1 year old is very clingy I was worried but she had a great time there - and so did we whilst they were there)
Our room was a two bedroom apartment and was very spacious and clean, room was serviced each day which was fantastic. The restaurant food was great, could maybe do with a few more healthy choices on the childrens menu but otherwise good. The pools were awesome. the main pool has the slide and is very spacious and the pool that was located in our apartment block was also good, heaps of room. Would definately stay at this resort again.

"we loved it"
We stayed at this resort for a week in late January. We were also a little hesitant after reading other reviews but decided to make the best of it no matter what.We needn't have worried. Our family of two adults and four kids aged 13,12,8 and 6 had a ball. The two bedroom apartment we had was spacious,clean,well equipped and modern The daily service was wonderful. We had no shortage of hot water or clean towels.The staff were delightful-every single one we dealt with. Helpful, friendly and polite. The buffet breakfast was great. Well prepared, abundant and fresh. The restaurant was also lovely and our meals were delicious. Our kids had a great time at the croc pool and many relaxed hours were spent at the pool behind our apartment. The grounds are really beautiful and the walk into Palm Cove is a great way to spend some time. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from and we had some superb nights. For some supplies to make it easier like drinks and snacks, a Coles supermarket was only a couple of minutes drive away or you could even walk it if your fit. We are looking forward to spending more time here in the future and would recommend it for families. Everyone we saw there was smiling.
