"Nice New Hotel in St. Petersburg"
This four-star hotel recently opened in St. Petersburg. It is well located just off of Nevsky Prospect, not too far from Moskovskaya street and train station. Excellent, pricey restaurant (but what great borscht and copious breakfasts!); clean, modern, comfortable rooms; lots of reception rooms plus a small gym and sauna. The hotel is in two buildings: one is in a semi-circular, cylindrical shape and supposed to represent the Tower of Pisa. The only drawback is that the beds are rather uncomfortable with cheap foam mattresses and too-soft pillows (even the Ibis, a 2-3 star hotel also in the Accor group, has more comfortable beds with real box-spring mattresses). Also, the single rooms are in the cylindrical building and surround conference rooms on every floor. If there’s a party going on in the conference center, you will hear it in the single rooms. The solution to this would be to install double doors to reduce the noise. Otherwise, a great hotel if you have the $ (at US $200 or more).

"Great hotel and good location"
Booked hotel at Euro 110/night (150 $) including breakfast, which is a large buffet with everything you can think of. Rooms are new, clean, quiet with modern style furniture. Main shopping area is only a few minutes walk. Staff is friendly and extremely helpful. I had to call maintenance (I broke the curtain) and they came immediately. Restaurant is slightly pricey but very good food. Would definetly recommend it
