Average stay for what we expected... For a hotel if its the location then the proximity of the station to the airport makes it worth it but other than that there not much to this place. The lock doors do not work, the shuttle service is pathetic as you might have to wait for hours before the last shuttle leaves you behind to hail a cab or you get to board the shuttle bus before other waiting passengers do. The communication from the staff is good and food is nice.

"Good Hotel" I spent one night here when connecting at ZRH. The hotel is a short 5-10 minute ride from the airport, and they provide a free airport shuttle that runs every 30 minutes, all day (there's also a free shuttle downtown, but it's less frequent). The location is very uninspiring, in a quiet residential/industrial area. There's virtually nothing to do around the hotel, although Zurich is only a few miles away. The reception area is small but pleasant and the service was great: no wait, a wide smile, curteous and polite attitude - this is a Swiss hotel. I had a prepaid voucher which would usually buy me the worst available room, but it seems that almost all rooms are identical, so I received a spacious queen-bedded room, with an additional sofa, a nice working are and a super modern bathroom. Everything was impecabbly clean. I was very pleased with the room (single rooms in Europe can be shoeboxes, even in 4* establishments). Breakfast (which was included in my rate) was superb. A wide selection of great breads, cheese, cold cuts, some cooked food which I didn't look at, cereals, fresh fruits and to top it all, a great bowl of Muesly. In sum, if I had to overnight in Zurich and could get the Novotel again for $71, I will have no second thoughts.

"Nicely Renovated Airport Hotel" The hotel has been recently renovated and the rooms are large and modern. There is a free bus service from the airport to the hotel which take about 10 mins and there is an hourly bus going into Zurich. I stayed here for a conference and found the conference facilities good and the staff very efficient. There were a number of conference going on whilst I was there which added an atmosphere to the hotel. The restaurant is a good standard for a 3 star hotel. I would definetly recommend this hotel if you want a cheap place to stay near the airport.

"Great stay at a charming hotel" My stay at Novotel was excellent. Staff was friendly and the room was very clean and large. I had no problems at all. Very good experience.
