Oasis in Barcelona 06:04:06 We staeyed here 5 nights.The room was clean, staff helpfull and the breakfast adequate for our needs. Good location for sightseeing.In all a very satisfactory stay in an hotel which is far better than it's 2 star rating would suggest. Recommended.

Excellent I stayed with 4 friends at the Oasis Hotel on the first weekend in March. The Hotel is in an excellent location; 10 minutes on foot to La Ramblas, 15 minutes on foot to Port Olimpico, 1 minute to the Marina. The rooms were small but comfortable, small but very clean bathrooms and friendly staff. This hotel is perfect for budget travellers or for groups of friends. Highly reccomended; we will be staying here again.

Good value and location Having read the positive review from another Prestonian, we decided to stay at the Oasis in February. We found it to be convenient to the Metro (only a short journey, with one change of line, to Placa de Catalunya) and within walking distance of Port Vell and seaboard end of La Rambla. Staff friendly, accommodation and breakfast OK. Unlike previous guest, we heard no traffic noise at night even though we could see Pla de Paula (the square) from our side room. We found some really good restaurants within a short walking distanceof the hotel in Barrio Gothic, especially an organic food restaurant, but you MUST try Pepe's restaurant (a 17th century house in a back alley) for an intimate evening and personal service, explaining all that is on offer in the Catalunyan buffet he prepares with his wife - if you can find the restaurant that is!
