"Excellent location"
This hotel is very well located, opposite the sea and just outside the old city walls so within easy walking distance of all the restaurants and bars etc and just by the casino. The advertised rate is too expensive for the standard really, but we paid a lot less through hotelclub and breakfast (which was quite good) was included. Rooms a bit dated and scruffy but ok. On the small side for 3 people as 3rd bed is a fold-up. The toilet was separate to the bath which was unusual and a good idea. The roads around the hotel are busy but we managed to find free parking outside. A good stopover from the ferry or Dinard airport.

"Fantastic location"
I think this hotel has a fantastic location; just a short walk from Saint Malò “Intra Muros” and right in front of the beach. Our room was spacious and clean although a bit dated. We reserved with “Rates to go” and could save some money finding a good rate. Hotel’s parking is a little pricy (12 euro per night) but it is possible to park outside for free. Breakfast was fine for France standards. I highly recommend the Oceania for its perfect situation; Saint Malò is a lovely town and also a good stopover to visit Le Mont Saint Michel which is 60 km far away.

"Exceeded expectations"
Stayed at the Oceania as part of a Brittany Ferries shopping weekend break. It was pretty empty, and there was often only one member of staff to do everything! But what friendly staff, and so helpful. Hotel is functional, clean and comfortable (some street noise in bedrooms but nothing unusual). It has amazingly out of place architecture for such a beautiful city - it is clearly associated with the 1960s/70s casino next door. Location was very good and secure car parking (included in our package, pay the charge if not!) is an excellent (and probably vital in summer) facility. Breakfasts were fine, bar prices OK. We would stay here again, much better than other port hotels we have used.

"Small Quiet Sea Side Hotel"
I stayed at the Oceania in the Spring of 2004. The hotel was nice and I had beautiful views from my room. Saint-Malo is a beautiful town and the cute little hotel is right in its heart. I would stay here again simply to experiance the hospitality of the people of this region.
