"Nice place" I stayed here during a convention at the GWCC. I didn't spend much time at the hotel but when I did, it was very nice. Check-in went quick and the lady was friendly and efficient. The room was very nice, it was in the older building (CNN Center itself,) and had a fantastic view of the skyline and the Olympic Park and fountain. The room was normal sized with the king size bed set at an angle, different but really nice. There was some noise during a reception in the atrium, but it went away eventually. The sound of horse drawn carts was there for a while, but they go away too, albeit later. Otherwise, typical city sounds were not too loud, but still there. Others in my group said that they didn't sleep well, but I was fine. The bed was very comfy. Bathroom was nice, with good amentities. nice towels. The hotel was in the perfect location for my convention and would be nice for most visitors. I'm not a fan of walking in the area as it isn't super safe once you leave the immediate area. All in all, a nice place that certainly served me well.
