"Very nice."
This hotel is a great choice is you are looking for a place to stay in Paris for a few days without paying crazy money, be a walking distance away from Gare Du Nord for travelling, Galerie Lafayette for shopping, Monmartre and Louvre for a bit of culture then that's the right choice.
Our room was nice, light, with a huge window and we left it open every night and could smell freshly baked bread coming from outside every morning! And then you can see the sunlight gently touching the roofs and walls of the biulding opposite and people there have these flowers and plants outside... It's fantastic!
The room was comfortable, all the usual stuff like nice bathroom/shower, TV, bar, tv, hairdryer.
People are very sweet and friendly and always happy to help.
Something else to remember: corner backery is VERY good (try all the chocolate things you can get and bread is also very very nice) and the lady is a sweetheart - doesn't speak much English but it's amazing how much you can achieve using a few words of French and an old style system of sign language. :) (Shame on us - we don't speak much French yet... :( )
There's also a nice french restaurant next door and a shoe shop and a florist. There's also a small corner shop where you can get fruit, water (am a big water drinker) and the guy speaks English.
If you want to find a nice place to eat, you just need to walk for about 5 minutes to get to one of the main roads and you get all the cafes, restaurants and shops - anything.
Things we didn't like about the hotel: pillows are a bit on a small side. The bar next door is open till 2AM and you can hear people shouting from time to time, so a bit of that extra noise at night... But if the window is shut then it's not a problem at all, it blocks all the noise.
To finish my endless note - I love love love Paris and did enjoy our little break and the hotel and hope you will, too!
