Located on the southwest coast of Hawaii's Big Island in Keauhou, this resort is 15 miles from Keahole-Kona International Airport. The Puuhonua o Honaunau National Historic Park, Keauhou Shopping Village and excellent snorkelling sites, including Kealakekua Bay are just a short drive from this resort.

All the accommodation units at this resort are completely furnished and offer family-sized kitchens along with generous living space. Most of these rooms are designed with open-beamed ceilings and have spacious covered balconies to enjoy the marvellous views.

During leisure, you can play a game of tennis or take a plunge in the onsite swimming pool and remain fresh.

Set amid tropical gardens bordering a championship golf course, Outrigger Kanaloa at Kona offers an oceanfront escape on Hawaii's southwest coast, 5 miles south of Kailua-Kona.

* Covering 16 oceanfront acres, Kanaloa at Kona comprises 166 units in 37 buildings of two or three stories (access to upper floors is by staircases, not elevators). Two lighted tennis courts and the adjacent Kona Country Club's Beach Course (golf) offer recreational choices. Near the resort's three pools are gas barbecue grills for guest use.

* Grill & Bar serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and tropical drinks, is next to the Outrigger Kanaloa's oceanfront pool. Open Tuesday-Saturday.

ROOM AMENITIES

* Situated on 16 oceanfront acres, Outrigger Kanaloa at Kona provides 166 units in 37 two- and three-story buildings (no elevators). These extra-large units feature bright and airy island-style decor and spacious patios or lanais. Views are of the golf course or the ocean.

* Amenities include full kitchens, wet bars, washer/dryers, and VCRs. Rooms are cooled by ceiling fans and cross-ventilation, unless an air-conditioning unit is requested.

CANCELLATION POLICY

1. No penalty for cancellations up to the defined cancellation deadline of this hotel.
2. Cancellations made within the cancellation deadline will be assessed a 1 night room rate unless cancellation policy is defined different.
3. No-shows will be assessed a 1 night room rate unless cancellation policy is defined different.
4. No cancellations on or after check-in date.
