"Excellent Hotel"
We stayed at the Palace Hotel in Noordwijk for five days in August 2003. It was a great experience. The staff was helpful and friendly. Our room was on the fourth floor with a balcony overlooking the coast line and town. The comfortable king size bed with a duvet comforter was in an alcove, very quiet and had a TV that would retract into a storage at the foot of the bed. The bathroom had a shower with glass enclosure and a large tub, excellent toiletries and quality slippers, plush bathrobes. The room was large and had a sitting area with a second TV and a desk. Our package included a dinner in the hotel restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised by the gourmet quality of the food. The town of Noordwijk is lacking in atmosphere, it is full of hotels and restaurants. The beach is very nice and the Palace Hotel was an excellent base for excursions to Delft and The Hague. The concierge was very nice and helped us to arrange for horseback riding on the beach. We have stayed in other five star hotels and this one was definitely up to the standard. |

breakfast was ok, but average, taking in consideration the 5 stars of the hotel.
