"Great Hotel"
Booked for a Junior executive suite for 5 nights and was upgraded to the 2nd largest room in the hotel. What a plus! The room was huge! Had a living room that was big enough for a party of 20 ppl! Everything was spotlessly clean and the staff were superb. Its the best hotel I have ever stayed in, and I honestly felt like a king, the way their friendly staff were treating us.
Room came with complimentary bottle of wine, chocolates and fruit basket. The shower had jet-sprays on the sides and the jacuzzi was big enough for 2 ppl. Best of all, the toilet-seat was electronic and heated! Breakfast was also awesome with many options. The reception were also efficient in helping us book restaurants for us and arranging taxis and tours.
The hotel is also a 5-min walk to the Monorail station and is only 2 stops away from Siam Paragon - the largest mall in South-East Asia.
Its very expensive, but you definately get what you pay for and more. Will definately stay here again if I can afford!

"Wonderful hotel"
From the staff, to the food and beverage, to the location, can't recommend this hotel enough. Stayed for four days recently and loved it. Particularly nice is the location, great for one partner roaming around an interesting local area while the other partner sleeping off jet lag. Would definitely go back!

"Fantastic Hotel"
This is a beautiful hotel, right on the river.
The room was great - comfortable bed with hundreds of pillows! Lovely bathroom, and all of the little "extras" you would expect. There are lots of different eateries in the hotel - but it was much cheaper and more atmospheric eating away from the hotel.
The only negative is that it is a bit of a trek getting to the main "touristy" areas (not a problem if you are trying to avoid these!!). Next time I will be booking a hotel closer to the action. You can get the boat accross the river where you can pick up the Skytrain or taxis and tuk-tuks, but having done this a few times, and a terrible journey on the last night (it took us over 2 hours in a tuk-tuk due to the traffic) I would have preferred to have been a bit more central.
Oh - one other thing! If you're a big sunbather you need to get to the sunloungers early doors - the majority spend all or half of the day in teh shade as the pool is in the courtyard and surrounded by trees. The sunny ones get snapped up early!
