"A lovely place"
The Arties Parador is placed is a the Aran Valley, next to Vielha and the main sky resorts. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds, everything is furnished with wood to achieve a "warm" atmosphere. You have to have in mind that this is a "mountain hotel" so for example there is no mini-bar or a lot of TV channels but you get a mid-size sofa. The Parador is a place for relaxing and an excellent base-camp to discover the area. The bathroom has also a generous size. You only need to open the tap to get hot water with a lot of pressure. Usual bath amenities are provided. Both room and bathroom are kept spotless by the maid. The restaurant is based on typical catalan food. The first course is a buffet and the the second one is a choice of two meats or fishes. The desset buffet is also unbeatable. The staff is, as usual in Paradores, kind and helpful.
