"Luxury at a very reasonable price"
When you compare the atrocious hotels in most British cities with this recently oponed hotel in Lerma, you feel as if you have been cheated all your life. For €120 you are offered superior quality, immaculate rooms, and the atmosphere is simply out of this world. You are transported to the Middle Ages but in 21st century style and luxury. The food is excellent and the opportunity to taste the wines of the region does not go amiss. We paid the same for a scruffy old room in London. Yes, in London you get the amenities. But I rather have the peace and quiet than feel ripped off!!!

"Great Parador!"
Though we prefer the smaller, more intimate Paradors (Chinchon, Olite, etc.) we have to give Lerma our highest rating. Our room was very, very comfortable and the staff was warm and pleasant. And, as the previous review stated, Lerma is a wonderful place to go to "get away from it all." There is not much to do in the town, but if you need a place to overnight this is a can't miss accomodation.
