The Parador is located on a headland, in a fortified 9th century enclosure with the 2nd c. Minyona tower and an 11th c. church, representative elements of the Catalan Romanesque architecture. Its location offers an exceptional panoramic view of the town and of the fertile land al ong the river Cardoner. Some bedrooms have four-poster beds. In the dining room, Catalan cuisine offers assortments of forest mushrooms and a variety of sausages, among them the 'butifarra con m ongetes' (sausage with haricot beans).
