"Lovely parador"
I was in Trip Advisor looking for something else and remembered I'd forgotten to post a review for the parador at Mojacar. It's fantastic and what you'd ecxpect from the top-end of the Spanish hotel market. Great food, friendly staff and management, facilities spot on, and the beautiful outdoor pool was open even in May (although the locals thought we were mad). I want to go back!

"Stylish and atmospheric parador - highly recommended"
My wife and I booked a five night break in early November directly with the parador who handled our reservation very efficiently. Our first impression on arrival was of a quality modern hotel in the Moorish style. The staff in the parador were courteous and helpful at all times. Our room was on the second floor of the first level, the hotel itself being a four storey building on two levels. Our balcony faced south eastwards to the sea giving us excellent views and catching the morning sun. Our room was well furnished, clean and tidy with decent quality toiletries in the bathroom. Set back from the road in beautiful tropical gardens, the parador was a haven of tranquillity, affording us the stress-free break we were looking for. The parador restaurant offered an excellent buffet breakfast, and gourmet dining in the evening. We used the parador as our base to explore the region, using "Campos de Nijar" as our guide, and had a most enjoyable holiday despite poor weather in the last few days.
