"Absolutely Stunning"
I can honestly say that this is one of the most beautiful places i have ever seen ,if you like your views and being away from the typical tourist traps then this is the place for you. The hotel was beautiful with a lovely swimming pool directly looking out over the cliff face.Extremely recommended!

"Excellent Hotel - Some Comments"
Just back from a two night stay in this excellent hotel. I would strongly recommend it to you. Rooms, service, breakfasts, dinner, location - all v good. Private parking underneath the hotel. We were lucky with room allocation and had fantastic view overlooking gorge & bridge. We booked superior double and requested highest available floor with view of gorge. Room 223 was what we got - amazing on too many counts to mention. The best three rooms for gorge and bridge view are 221 (the best aspect of all), 223 and 222. Rooms 221 & 223 are on corners and have double patio-doors onto wrap-around rooftop-outside terrace 'the size of a tennis court'. 222 has the same view, but (only !!!) a 'half-court' terrace. An amusing modern twist when you first arrive on the landing outside these rooms - dare you walk directly across the glass floor over the two storey drop right down to reception area ? And yes - there was a certain 'aroma' from the gorge by late pm even in April - but you ignore that when you stand there 'open-mouthed' taking in the view.

Had a great lunch out on the back terrace overlooking the gorge. Try the partridge pate!

"The Only Place To Stay In Ronda"
If you're going to Ronda, you must absolutely, positively, stay at the Parador. We just got back and loved it. We had a corner room (#219) which is right on the cliff and has views of the bridge and the countryside. Absolutely perfect room and you should definitely ask for it. The rooms were nicely decorated and the location is perfect. They have a parking garage, which was key for us. Oh yeah, and they have a nice pool too. The only downside -- and this has nothing to do with the hotel -- is that sometimes you could smell the water that flows under the bridge. It looks like they empty out some of the city water into the river below. It was only noticeable a couple times and didn't take away from the hotel at all. Stay here. You won't be disappointed.
