"Perfect Stay"
We loved it, Very well placed, in the middle of trujillo. very big rooms, with jacuzzi, and all comodities (with a perfect view). it's very itneresting to walk inside and see how they've mantained the spirit of the convent. we loved the restaurant of the parador like the ones that were in the village. great place to visit but for no more than 3 or 4 days, after that you have to take the car to go far to have something interesting to see.

"Magnificent Refurbished Convent"
This refurbished convent was our favourite of the 3 Paradors we visited in the Extremadura region of Spain (Toledo, Trujillo, Zafra). Parking is on a narrow hilly granite street just outside the entrance courtyard furnished with a fountain. One feels right in the heart of medieval Europe. The rooms are spacious if not somewhat sparse - still keeping some of the spirit of the original nun's rooms. They surround a central courtyard of granite with orange and lemon trees, tables and chairs.The dining room is a beautiful arched room. The meal we had here was the best of all three paradors.Trujillo is a magical granite castle town and the Parador sets the scene.Don't miss it.
