"Loved everything." I stayed here for the first week of august, which ended up being the most expensive week of the year to get a room. I was thrilled with the Park Central. It was exceptionally clean and everyone from the concierge to the housekeeping was very nice and helpful. It is in the best location. If you go right out of the main entrance, it is a 10 minute walk to times square. If you turn left, you can be to Central Park in 5 minutes. There is not a better location than the Park Central. You can walk to 5th avenue shops in 15 to 20 minutes and Rockafeller Center is only a short walk as well. There is a Starbucks right next door. There are tons of great places to eat near this hotel. I have been to hundreds of restaurants in new york and have found a few to be the very best. 810 Deli and Cafe on 8th Ave. between 40th and 45 St. is excellent. It is quick and cheap, but the food is fabulous. If you are looking for somewhere good in chinatown, XO is probably the best general Chinese restaurant. It is run by a Chinese couple and although they don't speak much English, it's easy to order and the food is wonderful and very authentic. Check in is not until around 3:00, but they keep your bags for only $3 a bag, which is cheap for nyc. Also, if you want to see a Broadway Show, especially if it is your first time I highly reccomend Hairspray. It is fabulous. It is by far my favorite one and i know people of all ages love this for the costumes and music. I hope this has been helpful. And have fun in the best city in the world.....
