My fiance and I spent two weeks traveling from Venice to Sorrento in Italy and had to get from Sorrento back to Venice because that is where our flight left for home. So we visited a local travel agent in Sorrento who booked us a flight on a puddle-jumper to Marco Polo airport in Venice. We still had one night left in Italy before leaving for home so we stayed at this hotel because it was the only thing available at the time. The hotel itself is not bad. When we got in, it was about 9pm so the concierge booked us dinner reservations at a restaurant two blocks away, and WHAT a find that was! I had the best meal of my entire life. There were no tourists around like in all the major cities we had visited so the restaurant owners were catering to local clients who actually know what good Italian food is supposed to taste like. I recommend staying at this hotel and ask the concierge to book you dinner reservations down the street. Unfortunately I do not remember the name of the restaurant but he will!
