"Well worth it" My wife and I stayed at the Park Hyatt in Place Vendome in Dec 05. It was after Christmas. The location is excellent because we like to eat late dinners and we found quite a few nice restaurants open within a block of the Park Hyatt. We dispensed with having breakfast at the hotel because in Paris we like the adventure of actually strolling the streets in search of good coffee and the nice breakfast pastries Paris is known for. Service was very good. The room was cleaned everytime we left it. We customarily used the bar downstairs for a nightcap. Overall, great location. Would stay there again.

"excellent service, all around great hotel" This was an all around great hotel. It is a 5star hotel with a 5star price though in comparison to other 5stars it's one of the more reasonable ones especially if you have an American Express platinum card as you get a discounted price and added amenities booking through them. The service is top notch from the minute you arrive to the minute you leave. The hotel is very clean and has it's own signature scent though it's barely noticable, nice without being overpowering at all. the only thing overpowering may have been their signature statue which was everywhere you turned! This hotel is very modern with just a touch of traditionalism. It has an art deco style to it I'd say. The rooms are a nice size and love the double sinks in the oversized bathrooms. We stayed in the park deluxe which is just the 2nd room category up but an amazing room. You are within an easy walk of The Louvre, The Opera and many other attractions. I honestly can't say I had any negative experiences during my stay and I highly recommend this hotel.

"Fabulous" From the moment we arrived until we left, the Park Hyatt was fabulous. Our room was on the top floor .. 4 windows looking out at a quiet courtyard. We had a king size bed, excellent lighting, a dressing room with 2 separate areas..each had a separate vanity and sink. The shower had a combo ceiling shower head and handheld. There was also a separate tub. The dressing room floor was heated. The staff was very polite and helpful. The breakfast in the orchid room was elegant. The smoked salmon was thinly sliced and arranged in a star shape. The rolls, cheese, yogurt, juice, fruits, and coffee were plentiful. I especially liked the refills on coffee in large cups. The only thing that could have been improved was the evening turndown service. We had to ask for it for the first 4 nights. After that, it was done without additional requests. I also missed the chocolate on the pillow. The location was excellent...easy walk to several metro stations. Next time, I'm in Paris, I would certainly hope to stay at the Hyatt Vendome. The hotel and staff were the best.
