Park Plaza Sherlock Holmes Hotel is situated on Baker Street. This location just about marks the start of central London on the North side. Baker street itself has a multitude of bars, shops and cafes, including the Barracuda casino. The bottom end of Baker Street joins Oxford Street, and this marks the start of the heart of London and its west end.
Nearest attractions include the Sherlock Holmes Museum, Madame Taussauds, London Zoo, Regents park, Marble Arch and Hyde Park. Also worth a visit are the Beatles and Elvisly yours shops by the Sherlock Holmes Museum.

"Best hotel in London"
Once again I come home from a perfect stay at this hotel. I go to London around 4 times a year and have stayed in many hotels in the city but since I found this one I never need to look elsewhere. The location is wonderful with a lot of shops and resturants right outside the door, the staff is wonderful and very helpful, the decor is lovely and even if it is a busy street outside we never hear it, very quiet in the rooms. The resturant in the hotel is very good and the bar area is great with snacks and lighter fare available. I know you will not be dissapointed if you stay here, I would be happy to live there full time.

"Very good overall"
Stayed here for a week April 12-18 with overall good results.
The service was good, staff was attentive and two minor maintenance items were taken care of quickly. The room was good sized, bed was comfortable, room was clean. Hot water was good, and when London experienced an unusually early "heat wave" (three consecutive days of 75 degree weather) they turned on the A/C, which worked very well.
Location is very good, one block from Baker Street tube station, there is a Tesco Express right next to the hotel entrance (discounted water, soda and snacks!) as well as a Boots pharmacy, Pret A Manger and Eat (coffee and pastries) all within steps. There were good local restaurants witin a two block radius, Zizzi (35-38 Paddington Street) and Base Bistro (195 Baker Street) were very good.

"Excellent"
Very nice hotel beautifull inside close to the underground and all amenitys. Room was not the largest I have ever seen but still very comfortable. Service was excelllent and the bar also very good.
