"very pleasant hotel"
the hotel was better then what we had expected. the room was more spacious then what we had prepared ourselves for and clean.
On our 1st night we had a problem with the shower it would only provide hot water. But the hotel took care of that with their technician.
there is a basic breakfast included ( croissant, cheese, butter, bread, cereal and coffee).
overall it was a pleasant and affordable stay.

"Great Location"
My mother and I stayed at the Pax hotel for one night in order to do a bit of christmas shopping.
It was really easy to find from the train station as we got the Eurostar to Paris. the Hotel is just of Rue La Fayette which takes stright down to the main shopping area adn the opera house, form whcih the Louve is only another 10 mins walk.
The room we had was on the 5th floor and at the back of the hotel and was a triple which gave us abit more space. the room was clean and a had a nice new bathroom suite. There was no outside noice at all. teh beds were comfortable and thye had extra pillows and blankets!!
Breakfast was continental with paistries, cerial, cold meats and cheese and youghts, plus plenty of fresh orange juice and coffee.
All and all a good stay, the only exception was the reception staff were a bit abrupt when asked to get us a taxi in the eveining, but it all part of the charm of being in france

"Great hotel, central to Metro service"
My wife and I stayed at Hotel Pax on our honeymoon a couple years back.
We had a great stay at the hotel, and thought I'd post our comments as I saw some negative posts on this site.
The hotel was clean, staff friendly, and the room was decent sized for Paris. We found the location central to the Train station and the Metro, for our one week stay.
Overall, great stay and I'd recommend to anyone.

"Really liked the Pax Hotel"
I stayed at the Pax Hotel in August 2005. Rooms were lovely, air conditioned, staff were very friendly and helpful, good breakfast was provided. It is also on a very convenient metro line (Cadet) which brings you directly to the Louvre. I would stay there again and recommend it.
