Pelican Bay is located in Platis Yialos, it is only 300m from the famous beach and public bus stop, 4 km away from the airport and the centre of the town of Mykonos and port.

"This really is a gem of a hotel for our honeymoon"
After the Cavoo Tagoo hotel cancelled our booking (renovations on their part was not completed in time), I had to scramble to find an alternative. After extensive analysis on the reviews on this board, my wife and I decided on this quaint hotel...
Why we chose this hotel and not one of the others we were looking at such as the Mykonos Blu, Mykonian Ambassador etc was based on a few factors:
1. We wanted a hotel that provided good value for money. We wanted a real nice honeymoon suite without busting our budget.
2. We decided on finding a hotel in Platys Gialos instead of Mykonos town.
3. We wanted a hotel that basically had good service, nice pool and close to restaurants and everything else that would make our stay memorable.
The hotel room we stayed in was the VIP Suite for around 180 euros. This was a large room with an excellent balcony overlooking the pool and a great view. Tastefully decorated. There was a large jacuzzi hottub. Comfortable queen bed. Bright and airy.
They served a delicious american style breakfast buffet near the pool. Very nice!
The hotel is just a short walk to the Platys Gialos beach area where there are a few nice choice restaurants there. The quick bus service into town is great too.
Both my wife and I agreed that this was a good value-for-money hotel to stay in Mykonos.
