3 star hotel?
I had the unfortunate pleasure of staying in the pembury hotel. It was a single room with a grubby interior. The bed linen was ripped, the duvet was filthy(barely fit for lining a dog basket), the tv poor(reception non existent), the radiator was on full (middle of May) and no way to turn down the heat, I had to use the duvet to block out the heat. The wiring to the tv was completely unsafe. The bathroom was just slightly smaller than the prison cell masquerading as the bedroom. The bath mat was softer than the actual towel, fortunately I had a towel in my case. On the positive side the bed was comfortable. I didnt stay for breakfast. How did this hotel receive a 3 star rating? My room number was 20, avoid at all costs if you have the misfortune of staying in this pit.
