The Perkuno Namai Hotel is the first private hotel owned by Vidmantas family in Kaunas. Opened in 1994, the hotel is situated in a cozy respectable district of private houses in the neighbourhood of the oldest oak-forest in Europe.

Two styles of architecture fit excellent to each other in the land bought by professor J.Vidmantas in 1929 - the living house designed in 1930 by architect Vytautas Landsbergis-Zemkalnis and the modern building renovated in 1998.

LOCATION

Located in the suburbs of Kaunas, this hotel is just 5 minutes drive from the city centre and train station, and 15 minutes drive from the airport. The hotel sits beside Kaunas' old oak forest and all of the surroundings are tranquil and very pretty.

PROPERTY AMENITIES

* The 40 seat restaurant offers traditional English breakfast and a la carte menu of international and Lithuanian cuisine. Located at the front of the hotel directly to the left of the lobby, this small restaurant is popular with locals and guests alike. Modern in design, the walls are adorned with photographs of the family who have run the hotel and lived in Kaunas for many generations.

ROOM AMENITIES

* Rooms vary in size but are generally medium. Rooms are functional and modern and some have a balcony. Decorated with simple furniture, they are nevertheless some of the best rooms in Kaunas.

* Rooms feature air conditioning, satellite television, direct dial phone, mini bar, hairdryer, automatic wake-up call and 220v voltage.

CANCELLATION POLICY

1. No penalty for cancellations up to the defined cancellation deadline of this hotel.
2. Cancellations made within the cancellation deadline will be assessed a 1 night room rate unless cancellation policy is defined different.
3. No-shows will be assessed a 1 night room rate unless cancellation policy is defined different.
4. No cancellations on or after check-in date.
