LOCATION
The Pestana Delfim Hotel is situated at Três Irmãos Beach, 1 km from Alvor village, 5 km from the town of Portimão and only 30 minutes from Faro International Airport on the A22 road.
The world famous star player, Nick Price, has teamed up with the well-known golf course architect, Ronald Fream, to create a uniquely designed 18 hole course with 27 varied greens that enable the golfer to play the same course several times with different greens and new challenges. The design technique has positioned the greens and protective bunkers so that an 18 hole round is a genuine challenge. The positioning of the tee markers helps to increase this variety still further. As in the case of the Pinto Course, this course is maintained at tournament standard all the year round.
From the first stroke off the tee to the final green, the player must not just play the ball well but also adopt the best strategy to achieve an optimum result. At the end of the round, experienced golfers will be able to confirm that they have played a good course, with a challenging 72 par over a more-than-sufficient length of 6,107 metres.

Fantastic Hotel
Me and my boyfriend visited the Delfim Hotel in Alvor, Algarve Protugal early this summer and the hotel was much better than we could have imagined! We stayed half board getting our breakfast and dinner inclusive of price, the food was outstanding, and the service excellent. Overall a very pleasurable holiday made even better by our choice of hotel. |

Fantastic
This hotel is fantastic. Although on a hill it is worth the short climb. Excellent eateries in Alvor. Facilities are great and the pool area very nice. I was unfortunately I was taken ill whilst here (nothing to do with food) and they were exceptional, getting me a doctor etc and providing a wheelchair to my room) and a voucher for a meal because I was unable to have the meal I had ordered..If I was to go to this area again I would go to this hotel. Alvor is about 20mins walk away and is a very quant place.

Delfin-ately a great holiday experience
Delfin-ately a great holiday experience, this well run and comfortable hotel is a good place to discover the quieter side of the Algarve. Staff friendly and attentive. Buffet meals offer high quality and good selection. Close to a long, sandy beach. Would return again. |

Loved the Hotel Delfim
We have just come back from Portugal, having stayed in the Delfim for 9 nights. We had a sea view which was excellent. The staff were nice and the hotel was very clean. One of the best hotels we have stayed in anywhere. Alvor is a lovely peaceful and friendly part of the Algarve, and we would highly recommend the resort to people who love Golf, Beaches and generally walking around in nice peaceful area's. |

fab weather,fantastic food
My husband and I have just returned from a four day break at the Delfim. We have had the most fantastic break. The hotel was very clean. We had a lovely room on the 8th floor over looking the sea. The food was excellent. Anyone who complains about the food at this hotel will complain no matter where they go. After having two weeks last year at a hotel in Tunisia where loud music was played day and night and just when you were nodding off on your sun lounger some rep would shout 'water polo' the peace and quiet at the Delfim was just what we needed. The restaurant staff were very friendly. The reception staff could do with a bit of training in customer relations- our only complaint! If you plan to go to an hotel in portugal make it the Delfim- you wont be disappointed. Allready planning our next break.
