"Very hip, modern, cental location."
This was a great hotel with high quality design and a shower to die for. The hotel is very modern, with a classy dark wood meets glass design. The beds were comfortable with a small balcony that opened up to the action of the city below. The lobby is small, but there is a nice internet access room in the back with cool multi colored tiles. The hotel is in an old building, so in areas the old brick walls were left exposed to remind you the hotel always wasn't very modern. Decent staff and very nice rooms and marble bathrooms. Good experience and I highly recommend.

"Great Hotel"
Great Hotel in a fab location, very central. The hotel was very clean and the staff very helpfull, booking resturants and cabs. We booked a triple and were given a quad room at the front of the hotel which had a small balcony. Did not have a problem with noise. Would stay here again very good value for money.

"Super Location"
Stayed with another couple for a long weekend/city break. Heat of the day was no match for the airconditioning and blackout curtains made the siesta easy. Small compact rooms with all we needed including great walk-in shower in large bathroom and modern room safe. Located centrally for shops, Plaza Mayor (great open air restaurant to left of Ben & Jerry's), Puerta Del Sol for the Madrid Vision bus tour, Cafe de Opera restaurant to the right of Opera House with fantastic singing waiters, Retiro Park with boating lake and very pleasnat walkways plus numerous bars, cafes, restaurants.
People do eat late in Madrid but didn't bother us as we were just a walk away from the hotel after we'd eaten with them. Plaza Mayor is the place to go for late night atmosphere.
We didn't prebook any breakfast in the hotel but were offered it as soon as we arrived - glad we chose to eat-in as the choice was extremely wide and varied.
Hotel staff spoke excellent english and nothing was too much trouble - finding restaurant addresses and opening times for us on several occasions off the internet.
We'd certainly go back - we all felt sorry for a couple who shared our taxi from the airport as their hotel was miles away from ours so they won't have been to all the great places we went to within 10/15 minutes walk from the hotel.

"Fantastic location"
The hotel was really clean and modern. Our room was fine, a little small but with a big bathroom and hydro shower. Location was perfect, 2 min walk from the Plaza Mayor which is beautiful at night as well as being close to the royal palace.
Metro right at the end of the street which we used to get to the airport on the way home, the ticket cost 1 euro! In a really bustly part of town and is perfect for sightseeing, but the rooms were still quiet and cleaned everyday! Would use again!

"Good Hotel, Great Location and Value"
We stayed here in the summer for 3 days. We selected because it is one of te very rare European hotels that have rooms for more than two persons. The room was on the back side and so very quiet. Madrid is, after all, a big, noisy city. Everything was modern, worked well and they have a great breakfast buffet. Best of all is the central location. Just about everything on the 'Old Town tourist agenda' was within walking distance. The small quibble with the modern decor was that the bathroom had a clear glass door. Not too good for a family group. We had to tape newspaper over the door for privacy. The hotel is definitely an excellent value for the location and accomodations. We will stay there again.
