"Hotel Pianoforte is charming!"
The Hotel Pianoforte is situated in a quiet, quaint neighborhood about 2 miles from the Sultanahmet district. We enjoyed waking up to the morning prayer call and the locals selling their bread through the streets. At no time did we feel nervous about walking around on our own. It’s not in the luxury hotel class, but our rooms were clean, quiet, and comfortable and the entire staff was very friendly and helpful – from directions to the city's famous sites to restaurant suggestions. In fact, they even called us one morning when we missed breakfast at our usual time. By our last day, we found ourselves thinking, "We could live here." We were still very close to the major tourist attractions. In fact, we walked everywhere from the hotel – from the The Chora Church (Kariye Museum) to Dolmabahce Palace and to the Ayasofya and Blue Mosque. We would definitely stay at the hotel again should we make it back to Istanbul!

"Pleasant stay at pianoforte"
We just returned from Istanbul after having stayed at Pianoforte Hotel for 5 nights. We booked the hotel at lastminute and got a great deal. The rooms are not really new but kept in good condition, with all the necessary items tv, minibar (it is empty but filled upon request), hair dryer, phone etc. Cleaning was fine, with clean towels, sheets etc. We enjoyed breakfast much. Plenty of bakery stuff was provided every day. The Hamam and massage is a must if you are staying at this hotel. Service is great and we only paid 35€ for Hamam and massage. The best thing about the hotel is its friendly staff. One of my friends had really bad migraine pain on a Sunday when all pharmacies were shut but the concierge found one pharmacy that was open and found her pills. They were great at helping us find places to go. One negative point about the place would be that its location is central but not too central. Not everywhere is within walking distance. We had to take a taxi to go to Sultanahmet but was fine walking back to the hotel from Grand Bazaar. Overall, we had a good experience at Pianoforte Hotel. We want to thank all the staff!
