* The regulars at the Bar du Plaza are already well acquainted with Flower power; an exotic, non-alcoholic cocktail conceived by Thierry Hernandez, the Bar du Plaza’s renowned director and creator of those original cocktails that have helped forge the bar’s unique reputation.
* Located on the avenue Montaigne, in the heart of fashion and business, the Hôtel Plaza Athénée has just opened a new conference room. Its name, The Dorchester, is the perfect opportunity for the hotel to assert its membership to the Dorchester Group.
* The Dorchester conference room is the perfect complement to the already prized Marie-Antoinette reception room : lunch or dinner in the Marie-Antoinette may be preceded by an aperitif in the Dorchester, an exhibition followed by a cocktail, a meeting with coffee breaks… everything is possible at the Plaza Athénée.
* An on-site fitness center features a sauna, steam room, Cybex equipment, and massage treatment rooms. Cuban mahogany walls provide an elegant setting for personal-training sessions and classes in stretching, yoga, and Tae bo. Maps of local jogging routes are also available. |

"Very classy stay at the Plaza Athenee"
I went to the hotel for spring break with my mom. The weather wasn't very good but the hotel was a safe haven from the stormy and cold weather outside. We had a deluxe room(you can see from the pictures I posted above) and it was more than enough space. I did have the chance to glance at a suite while housekeeping was fixing it up and I was very impressed. We ate twice in the room for dinner. The first time was ok. The hamburger wasn't anything special for the price but the prize winning rasberry and chocolate dessert was very good. The second time was much better. Breakfast room service was steep and the continental's pastries were ok. I would recommend going down to the restaurant for breakfast. If you dont want to eat there for dinner you get a chance to see it for breakfast and get anything you want. We got a huge basket of pastries and fresh squeezed juice drinks. The dinning room is also beautiful.
The one problem for us was that my mom and I like to walk around hotels even if we arent staying at them just to see for another trip. This hotel is very locked off to lookers and I saw some people coming in just to look around and everything is mostly behind glass doors and there are lots of people with walkey-talkeys walking around. Other than that it was excellent.

"Sensational"
The Plaza Athenee was absolutely faultless from beginning to end of our visit. The staff were friendly, the food divine, the hotel bar is the best in Paris! Our room was exceptional and the service was the best i have ever had.
Other reviews of this hotel on trip advisor complain of the rooms at the hotel. This is because they were on the 6th floor. When we were there we asked the concierge if we could see an example of the three different style of room available for guests (the first six floors are classical style and the 7th and 8th are art deco). My advice would be to ensure that you are reserved a classical room as the art deco ones are not as nice and the decor reminds me of that of a cross channel ferry.
Fortunately though our stay was seamless and we will 100% be returning to the PA!
