"Beautiful and peaceful" This Pousada was beautifully situated on the hillside overlooking Sao Bras, with the coastline off in the distance. The rooms were comfortable, although the bed was just a double-size rather than queen. The pool is lovely and the bar alongside it assured us of a pleasant end to the day. The guidebooks told us the restaurant at the Pousada was nothing special (unlike all the other Pousadas we stayed in, which were) so we had two wonderful meals at restaurants recommended by the hotel - Fernando's, in Sao Bras - a plain and simple place with superior food that greatly exceeded our expectations, and Carmane, 25 minutes away in Faro Beixa, a much fancier place with fantastic food as well.
