"Great experience!" When I booked this hotel, I thought it was close to the Atocha metro stop. It is not! However, it is halfway between two metro lines, the Marques de Vadilla on Line #5 and Usera on Line #6. It is a short walk to both of these, and we were able to navigate the city easily with the location. We were really impressed with Hotel Praga, especially considering the cheap rates. The bathroom was wonderful, and the room was nicer than a much more expensive hotel we stayed at in Madrid earlier in the week. The staff were also very friendly, and we had a great experience. I highly recommend this hotel!

Hotel Praga We visited in March this hotel. Good value for money.Nice room, large bathroom. Hotel is situated in a large street with a lot of traffic. This might disturb your sleep or even not following the sound of the television. Personnel at the reception is not too friendly. Indicated on this site is that the metro is only 0,1 km from the hotel.This is definite not true; 15 minutes walking. It takes 45 minutes from this metrostation to arrive in Barajas airport with 3 metro lines. Good connection! Distance from downtown approx 6 metro stops. A lot of nice tapas bars and restaurants in the neighbourhoud. Supermarket next to the hotel.
