"Great place to stay!"
My husband and I stayed one night at the Crest Hotel prior to riding the train to Jasper. I wish it could have been more! We had a room with a window seat overlooking the water. As I relaxed in the afternoon, I watched about 6 eagles playfully fly back and forth right in front of my room. In the evening, a large cruise ship docked right outside our window.
The room and bathroom were spacious, airy, and comfortable. We ate both lunch and dinner at the Crest and had delicious meals. I particularly liked the seafood chowder and fresh salmon. Although Prince Rupert is somewhat out-of-the way ( a flight on a small plane or a 15 hour ferry trip), I'd actually like to return and would again definitely stay at the Crest Hotel. Don't miss the beautiful new museum right by the hotel.

"Loved this hotel."
What made the Crest Hotel really stand out was the level of the service. Everybody from the receptionists to the bar attendants went out of their way to please. The hotel itself is pretty good too. We had a seaview room which was a bit small but had everything we needed, and the bar and restaurant serve great food and have a lovely atmosphere. Sitting out on the terrace on a sunny day with a cool drink and just watching the bald eagles......just what holiday moments should be all about.

"Staff made it a lovely stay"
We spent 2 nights here before catching the Skeena train to Jasper and initially thought we'd be killing time. However, we discovered a hidden gem in Prince Rupert.
Cow Bay in particular was very pretty and there were some lovely walks to be had in the area.
We had a Queen Room with sweeping views onto the bay and upon arriving were greeted by an eagle perching on the tree outside. Binoculars are provided to watch the wildlife.
Although small, the room was well furnished and spotlessly clean.
I celebrated my 30th birthday whilst here and the staff made every effort to make it a very special occasion by organising a cake, champagne and decorating the room with balloons.
We ate in the bar the first night and the restaurant the second. Fantastic food on both occasions.
Overall a lovely place to stay and we'd love to return to the Crest at Prince Rupert.
