"Great Service, Nice Rooms, Perfect Stay"
I stayed at the Pulitzer for two nights on business in early April. Check-in was about a 3 minute process, no issues. They asked if I was a member of Starwood, and I said I thought I had signed up for it, but had no ID card on me. No matter, she had my info in about 5 seconds just based on my name, very nice! Other staff interactions were with the porters, and they were very friendly, and anticipated your needs sometimes before you even had to ask.
Room was small and very efficient. Nice view from the 3rd floor of the back of the building, a large courtyard with trees, flowers, and little cafe tables. Bathroom was great, one of the nicest showers (comfort, pressure, temperature) that I've used in Europe. The bed was the standard (seemingly) of most European hotels, with a comforter for a sheet, and a little lower to the ground than USA beds. They had the "pick your pillow" option, where you can get a different pillow if you'd like, but I was fine with the one's provided. The room had an internet drop, 20 euros for a 24 hour pretty fast connection.
It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the park in the center of Amsterdam, where the Picasso museum is. It's about a 30 second walk to the Anne Frank house.
I was very pleased, and I'd consider staying there again.

"Excellent"
Is worth being a member of Starwood hotels (or Hiltons, etc) as you get great offers and no exception with this hotel. Great location (check the restaurant and wonder of the big painting), close to shops (some nice original shoes, girls), great architecture, some 30min walk to Rembrandt house. Our room was located on the second floor and had to remember how to reach (involved several sets of stairs and corridors) but nevertheless was great fun. I think Ocean 11 was filmed in there, recognised the entrance, or could be wrong.
Highly recommended!

"Beautiful hotel on canal"
The Hotel Pulitzer deserves it's label as part of the 'luxury collection'. The rooms are beautiful, perfectly finished and very relaxing. The service was exceptional and the facilities great. The hotel has beautiful meeting rooms for events and a very good restaurant (both breakfast and dinner are quite good). The location on the Prinsengracht canal puts it a little bit out of the 'center' but it's a beautiful location and probably my top choice for an area to stay in. Everything is within walking distance from the hotel and it's easy to get a bike to go around town.

"Fantastic location"
My wife and I stayed for 3 days in early June for our wedding anniversary and were very impressed. Ticked all the boxes- great location, very safe, staff amazingly friendly and very helpful in guiding us to good restaurants etc. Hotel food excellent although pricey. Room good size- ours overlooked the gardens and was obviously previously part of two of the canal houses. Despite the large number of rooms it had all the attributes of a small family hotel. Gardens are great to relax in after a days sight seeing! Overall would rate very highly.

"Best hotel and best location!"
We stayed at this hotel for two nights before a river cruise...loved the hotel and location. About 25 canal homes all connected together in three rows. We had a room on the third floor, inter court yard. I did not like this location as the lights were on all night long in the hall way that were across from our room. If we ever go back to Amsterdam, we will stay there but a different location. I would request the garden or canal rooms.
This hotel is central located to everything. Anne Frank home, Dam Square, museums, and near great places to eat. The hotel is prices for the food are expensive, but very very good.
The rooms are amazing. Wooden beams on the ceiling, wood floors. The bathroom has heated floors! Amazing bathroom too.
Loved this hotel.
I would recommend this hotel to anymore.
The only thing I wished they had was coffee makers in the room.

"Beautiful Hotel - Wonderful Service"
The Pulitzer is one the best hotel I have stayed in. I travel frequently and have been in many hotels across the world. The Pulitzer aces it on every aspect I consider important. The staff is exceptionally helpful, the rooms are wonderful and interesting. The bar is exceptionally nice and the staff there very friendly. And, they get the little touches right- like the stroopwaflen on the bed at night. The location is cool and an easy walk to things- although a bit longer to the museums. Our business doesn't approve the hotel for my level anymore which could almost make me cry! However, for anyone else that can- you should.

"good experience"
Spent two nights in late January at Hotel Pulitzer. No complaints whatsoever...arrived nearly five hours before check-in time and room was set up promptly.
Location is ideal on a nice quiet street and only a block or so from the Anne Frank House. Also about a block to the tram which gets you to other main attractions quickly if you're not up for walking.
Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again on my next visit.
