"Fantastic!"
We have just spent 10 days at the Puri Santrian and loved it. We booked a bungalow but were upgraded to a club room as we arrived early. The room was big and clean with a very comfortable 4 poster bed. The shower had good pressure all the time. The 3 pools are lovely but the club one is a bit quieter and more sheltered from the wind than the main one. I thought the gardens were lovely and very well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful.all the time The breakfast was fantastic everyday - overall I really couldn't fault a thing!! Best restaurant - The beach cafe - on the beach path in north sanur. FANTASTIC food balienise with a mix of western style and presentation. Everywhere we ate was good, I can highly recommend Donalds on the road or the beach, Bobbys,and Bonsai cafe.

"Excellent honeymoon location"
Excellent honeymoon location. We stayed for 8 nights after a short stay in Singapore. Very relaxing, the pools are lovely and the beach was nice too. The meals at the beachside restaurant are lovely - and very good value for money. There is a separate menu for during the day and on an evening and both have plenty of choice. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, instead we went to Donalds on the beach for an American breakfast - again great value. We only ate in the Mezzanine restaurant on our last night and wished that we had discovered it sooner. We had a fantastic set meal - the seafood teppanyaki which was delicious, and there was plenty of it. This restaurant is more expensive than the local beachfront restaurants and pub meals - but in terms of quality of food and setting, well worth it. We have only one negative comment about the hotel and that was the cleanliness of the beach. We arrived after a spell of unseasonably bad weather, which had brought in a fair bit of detritus from the sea. This wasn't cleaned up for a couple of days and meant that we weren't inclined to enter into the sea for a couple of days as it meant walking over the rubbish. Like I say, it was cleared after a couple of days and shouldn't be a problem for future visitors.

"Puri Santrian just perfect"
the Puri Santrian is a beautiful hotel set in tropical gardens and standard of accomodation and facilities is more like 4*plus. We upgraded to a club room and were not disappointed. Afternoon tea was served with a good choice of patisserie cakes and tarts which were delicious and all staff were very efficient and extremely friendly. Sanur beach was beautiful and there were plenty of restaurants nearby serving excellent food at very reasonable prices. Apakabars (turn right out of the hotel cross the mini roundabout and than 200yds on the left) was one of our favourites. Food was good quality especially the 'magibung' (a selection of indonesian dishes) and the seafood platter. Also Jerry served the best and cheapest cocktails in Samur!
