Nice hotel I booked a room in a different hotel, but that turned out to be overbooked, so they had arranged a room in the Pyramida Hotel. No problems with that at all, because it's location was better than my first choice (three different tram lines bring you in 10 min to the riverside) and the hotel itself was fine. Clean room, good shower, nice breakfast buffet although I missed some fruit. Very helpful staff as well.

"Going back again" We stayed at this hotel in March this year and we are due to go back again next week. Can't believe the negative reviews from some people. We have the same deal as last time -4 nights for the price of 3 and it works out at £15 per night each for bed and breakfast. We have no negative comments to make at all - breakfasts were good with loads of choice, room was comfortable and staff were helpful. We were concerned that it would be too far from the centre but trams pass every few minutes and it only takes about 15 minutes to walk. All in all we felt it to be a good choice and we can't wait to go back.

"Had a great time" My Husband and I went for a 3 night break with another couple and had a great time. Excellent hotel for the price, room spotless, shower great, Staff helpful though I think the breakfast staff are given strict orders not to smile or speak, or maybe they really are that unhappy!! and you really can have curry for breakfast, but if thats not your thing then theres plenty of other stuff to choose from. Only slight gripe would be that the bar shuts at 12 midnight on the dot, good job the mini bar is cheap (same as the bar prices more or less) not triple the price like English hotels!. Location not a problem a leisurely stroll took about 1/2 hour to the old town square 10 minutes to the Castle, 1/2 hour uphill walk to the Petrin Tower or hop on the Tram which cost penny's and goes past the Castle and the Fenicular Railway up to the Petrin Tower, tickets can be brought at reception.

"Excellent Hotel" The Hotel, although being out of town was conveniently situated against the tram stop (22,23} taking only 5-10 minutes from the centre. The cost of a 3 day pass was £4. The hotel is of very high standard although the rooms do not have tea making facilities (take your own). The breakfast is sufficient and varied with a full english costing £3 extra. The pool and sauna are also extra but for the price we paid for the room (£34/night) we could not complain. The hotel was warm (-15c at nights outside) and the rooms were spacious with comfortable beds. The bathroom was shower only with plenty of hot water - towels changed every day. I would recomend the bar just to the left of the hotel as you walk out as the hotel bar was pricey comparatively. Overall an excellent choice - ignore the reviews who winge about extras - work it out and be streetwise like we were. P.S. looks as though we will be returning next January - it may be cold outside but this hotel is a geat bolthole!

"Superb choice" I have now stayed at this hotel three times, the service was excellent and friendly and the double room was clean and well decorated. The hotel restaurant served excellent traditional dishes at very fair prices. The location of the hotel is good especially for those who wish to have a quiet break away for the night time noise of the night clubs and bars. Trams are easily obtainable from outside the hotel.

"Pizza shop oposite superb" First off Prague a stag weekend? Are you mad, apart from Darlings Bar the place is so boring. Hotel was execellent. Go over the road and have a mexicana pizza. Superb munch, best pizza ever tasted.
