A great place to stay in Cairo for US$100 a night
Good hotel, great service, excelent breakfast.
The limousine/guide service provided at the lobby was excelent and the price was quite reasonable. They have an excelent lunch buffet, but it is quite expensive...I will definitely stay at this hotel again if I go back to Cairo |

Masoods
My wife and I stayed at the Cairo Pyramisa in May 2007 for six nights . We will definately be returning here in the future and would readily recommend this lovely, medium sized hotel to other travellers. Its a good 4/5 star and much cheaper than other similar hotels in Cairo such as the Mena House where we have also stayed in the past.
The breakfast was excellent with good variety and superb good old English Breakfast tea. We were expecting a double room and ended up with very spacious suite with a separate living room--great for some time away from the wife !
Central location ,stone-throw from the Nile , centarlly located near the Cairo Museum.
This hotel has all the amenities that you would expect from a 4/5 star hotel . We had a great time. i thoroughly recommend it . |

good but noisy
there was many outside visitors-groups such as students doing exams and/or elections!
beside that, they are providing the same breakfast everyday... no big list of options as a 5* hotel!
advantages are so many as well. |

"I love Cairo"
If you can open your mind to a different way of life and let go of what your are used to in western europe then Cairo is a great place to go.
I love Cairo and the egyptian way of life, and will definitely return to todays true capitol of "La dolce vita".
Everybody talks about the pyramids, and they certainly are a "must see" wonder of the world, but actually they were the least of my
adventures in Cairo.
I left Cairo inspired, enriched and rejoiced.
The Hotel Pyramisa is a nice hotel with good service placed in the center of the city near the Nile.
The rooms are nice, but a bit worn out. I had small problems like not being able to keep the temperature of the water constant while I was showering.
Other than that I was satisfied. Even so I will consider upgrading to a
5 star international hotel on my next visit to get the full de luxe experience.
