I'm sad to read all those negative reviews here and must say, all those problems this hotel has, aren't so bad at all. "Gr8 Location, Gr8 Hotel..." I stayed at the Quality Hotel in early December 2005 and I had a great time! The hotel is an old building but that only adds to it's character. It's location is 1st class, you cant get more central than the quality hotel. The staff where all very friendly and helpful, from the reception staff to the various members of staff we met in the hotel corridors or lifts they are all very very friendly. On arrival my room wasn't ready but I was able to leave my bags in the porters room and go shopping to fill in the time, when we came back our room was ready and we where given our keys. We had a refurbished room so we where pleased, the Grahamston's bar is nice and modern and for a hotel that is slap bang in the middle of the city centre the prices aren't too bad. The friendly staff of the hotel told us that the hotel is still undergoing part of it's refurbishment programme and i say that this can only add to the hotels appeal, as long as the Quality Hotel Glasgow doesn't loose any of it's character or friendly staff during it's refurbishment then i'll definately go back and stay again.

"great hotel" I stayed at the Quality Hotel Glasgow 1st to the 3rd August this year. the hotel is right in the city centre, close to all shops, clubs and attractions. location is the best. The price was good value for the 2 of us. The staff were very friendly and helpful. the food good and to have the leisure centre included in the price was a bonus. I stayed some years ago and to see the change that has taken place is a credit to the hotel. It's clean and tidy and has under gone a lot of refurbishment. apparently there is more work to be done on it too. The bed room we had was very spacious and clean. I would certainly use this hotel again when visiting Glasgow. Hard to beat
