"Good Value, Friendly Staff"
We booked our Paris weekend through lastminute.com and including return travel from London on the Eurostar and three nights in the hotel, the cost for two was £377. When, at the last minute, our 11 year old daughter ended up accompanying us, the hotel staff was very understanding and provided a room with three beds. We all commented on how comfortable the beds were. Overall, we were quite happy with the hotel. It has been recently refurbished, although the style is a bit odd, and everything was clean and in good order. The staff were all cheerful and helpful (not a given in Paris) and we appreciated the free light breakfast every day. We enjoyed staying in a typical middle class French neighbourhood, rather than the more touristy areas and found a couple of excellent restaurants within a few minutes walk of the hote. To get into the centre of Paris you can take the No. 4 Metro or the No. 38 bus, which we preferred. The bus from the hotel to Luxemburg Gardens took about 20 minutes.
