"Great Hotel!" Great hotel! This hotel is just a few minutes outside of the city of Salzburg, with a view of the countryside and of the mountain Untersberg. The staff were very friendly when we checked in, and we found our rooms to be quite pleasent. All of the rooms seemed to have a balcony, with most of them facing Untersberg. The hotel has a number of indoor tennis courts, which operate year round. It also has an outdoor swimming pool (which we can't comment on because it was closed in December), as well as an indoor driving range. It also has a sport lounge with a spa as well as exercise equipment, but we didn't use either of those during our stay. We ate in the restaurant a couple of nights, (which overlooks the indoor tennis courts) and the food was pretty good. The front desk helped organize a city tour with transportation to the tour's start, and gave us directions for places in and around Salzburg. When we got home, we noticed we left a few things in our rooms, and they sent them to us in the U.S., all the way from Austria! If you absolutely don't have to stay in the city center, and you have a car, (or willing to take the taxi or bus) then this is the hotel for you!
