This hotel lies on a hill at a height of about 820 m and is surrounded by wonderful forests and mountains. Located within 7 km of the hotel are an abundance of shops, a beach, bars and restaurants. It is 10 km to the nearest nightclub and there is a complimentary shuttle bus service to Funchal (journey time of approximately 30 minutes).

Opened in 2003, this 3-storey hotel comprises a total of 44 rooms and 7 suites. Lying along a main road, this hotel features a foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, a safe and a lift in addition to a bar, a reading room, lounges, a TV room and an air-conditioned a la carte restaurant with highchairs for infants. The public Internet terminal (WLAN) and conference room may be taken advantage of as can the bicycle hire service. Those arriving by car may make use of the hotel car park and garage facilities and room, laundry and medical service round off the offerings.
