Hotel Information
Very traditional decor throughout which is exactly what you would expect of a hotel of this quality...

The hospitality and quality of service make Quirinale Hotel the ideal place for an unforgettable holiday in the Eternal City.

Romance and Rome are linguistically and emotionally synonymous. It would be difficult to find a hotel more dripping in that special Roman feeling than the Qurinale, which features a wonderful courtyard garden, Imperial furnishings and attentive service as well as restaurants from the top drawer and a location close to everything, not least the Opera House, to which the hotel has its own private entrance.

Quirinale Hotel
This was my second stay in this hotel whilst in the 'Eternal City', having married there at this same time last year. I have travelled extensively and Rome itself is simply breath-taking. Prepare yourself fitness-wise in advance for lots of walking as many of the old cobbled streets are not the easiest on your feet! I contacted the hotel directly and found savings of €50/night on double room with breakfast booking via Gtahotels.com!! The location of the hotel is very favourable, with all the main tourist attractions within walking distance and also well served by busy bus routes 40 and 64. Staff are excellent, always helpful, particularily Sarita and all perfect English speakers which leaves it much easier for a one-linguist-wonder such as me!! Our room was clean, comfortable, well decorated and oozing historical beauty. Quirinale also boosts air-conditioning - an absolute necessity in Rome in mid-July. If the numerous historic sights aren't of sufficient interest to entertain you and you are heavily reliant on television, then you'll have to pay a small daily fee. Breakfast was varied and plentiful with seating available inside, on a veranda and in the hotel's fabulous garden. Bar prices can be expensive but you should expect to pay a bit extra for such luxury. Dining was memorable and the hotel offered 20% discounts during certain times in the evening on all food. No doubting I will return to Rome and my first choice will always be QUIRINALE with GTAHOTELS.COM

"Wonderful"
We stayed in this hotel for three nights in mid A pril. After reading some of the reviews on this sight, I was a bit fearful. However, I must say that we were very, very pleased. From check in to check out the staff was outstanding. The included breakfast was very extensive - lots of choices - something for everyone. The decor was fun - it seemed to be a typical older Roman hotel - just the experience we wanted from a hotel - it wasn't sterile and flavorless like a "Marriott", for example. The bar/sitting area was beautiful and so well kept. The housekeeping staff was outstanding - sheets and fluffy towels were changed every day. Only one problem, not within walking distance to the center of Rome, although taxis were plentiful and not that expensive. I would stay there again.

"Very Nice Hotel"
We stayed at the Quirinale for 3 nights in May and had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The room was very comfortable and quite large even by American standards. The hotel staff was pleasant and helpful, and the buffet breakfast had a wide variety of selections to choose from. My only criticism of this hotel is that it is not close to the main tourist attractions in Rome. Every sight is at least a 20 minute hike and I say hike because Rome is built on 7 hills and eventually you will have to climb up one, or several. It is however, very close to a metro stop and the bus stops right outside the front door. This is a good hotel and can be a great stay if you learn how to use the public transportation system.

"Great location, comfy beds and a clean hotel."
having read some reviews we were pleasantly surprised by the Quirinale. It's true that the staff don't seem interested and don't go out of their way to be welcoming. (that could be said of many Italians we came into contact with) However, location and cleanliness are more important and this hotel ticked those boxes. We were in a room overlooking the garden and it was very quiet with the shutters closed, I imagine if we had been overlooking the road at the front it would be noisier. We timed ourselves walking to the termini, it took 12 minutes at a comfortable pace. The breakfast is also important as it sets you up for the busy day ahead, contrary to other reviews, we were impressed with the choice, cereal, fruit, pastries or a good old cooked breakfast. We went to breakfast early (7.30) and later (9.30) each time the choice was plentiful and hot. We did the green line bus tour as it was a good way to get your bearings and you can get on and off at will. The full tour lasts approx 2 hours, you get given headphones with a selection of languages, a narrative explains the story behind the history as the bus passed by a particular venue. At the Colesseum, there are no information signs, we were approached and asked if we wanted to join a tour. It lasted approx 1 hour and we were given a leaflet about other tours that Romatours offered. We went on their Vatican tour the next day, it was well worth paying the extra just to walk past the people who'd been queueing for hours in the blazing hot sunshine. Our tour guide, Amanda, was enthusiastic and made it very interesting. We walked from the hotel to the Trevi Fountain, which was beautiful lit up in the evening, and threw in the required coins! This area had plenty of choice for restaurants and competitively priced, on average we paid 50 euros for a 2 course meal and wine for 2 adults which included a tip. We also experienced the metro, it's not unlike the tube in London, but they decide to close lines when there is no obvious alternative route. Most places you would want to see can be reached on foot, (comfortable shoes a neccessity) though having a good map is essential as the information signs aren't the best! All in all, we made the most of a 3 day break and enjoyed every minute.

Very Good Hotel
Just come back from 4 days in Rome where we stopped at the Quirinale, We were slighly apprehensive when we arrived as I had read mixed reviews about it, however we were very impressed. Decent service, nice clean good sized room, lovely lounge just after you enter the impressive lobby of the Hotel. Breakfast was superb especially the croissants and home made breads, we didn't try lunch or evening meal there just coffees and biscuits from the Green Room Bar, again very nice. Most of the staff spoke good english and was helpful when providing info of where to get to places of interest, vatican etc....overall enjoyed stay and nice hotel... We would definetly stay again....
