"Great location"
We have just returned from a weekend at Quo. I liked the hotel and found the staff friendly and helpful some more than others. The location was great however i am a very light sleeper and was woken many times by street noise . The beds were really comfortable but i hated the bathroom door which was frosted glass and a swing door. The room was small but clean and modern. There were six of us altogether the others were not bothered by street noise or the bathroom door so different for everyone. What worries me is that we paid €201 each so that was €402 for one room for two nights not including breakfast seems expensive to me but maybe this is the price for this time of year!

"Great location"
Location is fab! 5-10 minutes to the museums. Hotel seems pricey compared to other major cities, but we couldn't seem to find a 'decent' one much cheaper.
Don't bother with the hotel breakfast at 14€, instead go to the "Museo de Jamon" just round the corner and hang out with the locals. You can have a fresh orange juice, large cofffee, bacon/eggs, and toast for 4€ whilst looking at all the hams, great place.
The Madrid Vision tourist bus is 15€ for a day, red or blue routes, on & off as much as you like. You can buy the ticket at the hotel. However, we did that and all busses that we tried to get on were full. The hotel will return your money. So we suggest either getting on them very early, or do what we did and walk the red route. It was easy, you see more, and is no hassle.

"Quo is "perfecto""
This was a great hotel. When we arrived, the friendly staff member greeted us and quickly gave us our key. No problems at all at check in. The staff was always friendly and said hello or goodbye when you entered and left the hotel. Their English was excellent. If anyone thinks they are aloof, they apparently need for the staff member on duty to come around the front desk and give them a hug and a kiss everytime they are in the lobby. The room itself was very clean and very nice. I am always surprised when people complain about small room. Our room had two beds, two night stands (with bedside lamps), two closets, a desk and chair, another chair in the room, a floor lamp, and a suitcase rack. There was plenty of space for everything and nothing was too crammed. Apparently some people need a dance floor in their hotel rooms... as if anyone spends that much time in their rooms when on vacation. The location is perfect! Just a block away from the Puerta del Sol and minutes away to the Gran Vía and the Plaza Mayor. The hotel itself was not too noisy (we were even located right next to the elevator, but it did not 'ding' everytime it opened and closed. My only complaint about the hotel is something they have no control over... the construction in the area was very loud at all times of the day and night. The weather was very pleasant when we were there and we liked having the windows open (after all, they do not run the air when the weather is cool). The bathrooms were very clean and modern. There was no shower curtain... just a plastic half wall to keep the water in. Only made it to breakfast once (it was included in our reservation through gtahotels.com). The breakfast was okay... the usual cereal, rolls, eggs, ham, bacon, yogurt, sweet bread, etc. We paid a little more for this hotel than we normally would for any other in Europe and it was well worth the money. I highly recommend this hotel.

"Amazing hotel!"
I stayed in this hotel just a few weeks ago with my boyfriend.
It was fantastic. The rooms were really trendy and spacious, and really well kitted out with a cool LSD screen. Its in a great central location and there is plenty of tapas, shopping, just a few minutes away. We used the guide book in the hotel to choose a restaurant for Saturday night, and was booked for us by the reception staff who were really friendly.
This hotel is really reasonable, and if it was in the UK, would be charging 3 times as much!! Am definitely going back...well worth a visit.

"charming quo"
we stayed in the top floor, i think it's the 7th floor. we had two rooms, one of them had a tub, both had a nice veranda / balcony that had tables and chairs and 2 deck chairs. too bad it was too cold to sunbathe.
when we arrived there was a nice fruit platter and champagne.
breakfast was very nice and modern.
it was quite near puerta del sol and where the action was.
we were extremely happy with this hotel.

" Great Hotel"
I and 27 others (14 couples) stayed here for 2 nights in December 05. I and my friends couldn’t praise this hotel enough, everywhere clean and tidy; staff so helpful and polite couldn’t do enough for us. we pre booked breakfast before we went with the agency we used as a lot of firms did not offer this, and must say the breakfast was really first class I only expected the normal cheese. Boiled egg and roll, this had everything you could have wanted. Its self service buffet hot and cold, fresh fruit, fresh jucies, first class. Rooms were art deco style nice and clean and tidy. The position in Madrid was also good near the centre of everything. Only drawback was very slight vehicle noise but nothing to complain about
